Collagen FAQ

as we age our body isn't able to produce enough collagen naturally, meaning supplements play an important role in reducing the signs of aging. although several foods contain collagen, they are not absorbed into the body as well as hydrolised collagen.

milla collagen is hydrolised which means it's already broken down to make it easy for the body to absorb and digest.

we only use sustainably sourced marine collagen in our products. from fish scales, a by-product of the fishing industry in france. our marine collagen has been hydrolysed for easy absorption and is gluten and dairy free.

there are a lot of mixed messages about how much collagen to have per day. studies have proved that 2.5g per day is enough to see improvements. at milla we recommend 5g per day for results you'll see and love, but if you want to get there quicker increase this to 10g.

we suggest on our functional range and inner health ranges only having two serves per day max, due to the highly effective functional ingredients we add.

you can mix and match milla products, with no problems caused by having different products each day. all of our ingredients with exact amounts are listed on the product pages.

if you are unsure about anything drop us an email (hello@millacollagen) or speak with your nutritionist or gp.
